Yes! You can live zero waste on a budget! You don’t need all the gadgets and gizmos the world tells you you need to live lighter on the Earth.
In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore dozens of ways to reduce your waste that will save you time, money, and the planet. We’ll make a year’s worth of cleaning supplies in 5 minutes, and you will learn about body care products that are safe, easy, and affordable.
From making your own beverages to bartering for goods, from old-school solutions to contemporary reusables, jam on the thriftiness and niftiness of a zero-waste lifestyle.
This event is facilitated by Tracey TieF, a “Zero-Waste Hero” featured in Beth Terry’s bestseller “Plastic Free How I Kicked the Plastic Habit and How You Can Too” and the founder and teacher at Anarres Apothecary.
Participants are asked to bring a wide-mouthed jar that holds half to one cup, and two spray bottles. (Please don’t buy new plastic ones!) There will be some jars and bottles available for sale should you not have your own.
Please RSVP by calling 416 534 1470 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
