Health Promotion Research
I am a student at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and am doing some research on how community based Food Coop influence the health of the community as part of a health promotion course.I was hoping to find out whether the health of the community members has improved since joining Karma? Any and all feedbacks would be appreciated.

you also need to consider personal health is not the only reason for joining. There is the health of the whole wide universe. That is what Karma is about for me.

I do feel better about the universe since joining.

Methodologically, your research question is a bit tricky. It's hard for me to check in to that parallel universe where I didn't become a Karma member and see which one of us is feeling healthier.
That said, if you want anecdotal evidence, I went to NoFrills the other day and was shocked at how much of mainstream food is loaded with sugar/fructose and mysterious filler ingredients. So, I'd say Karma changed my perceptions and expectations of what is good, healthy food.
