The best and the worst
What are the best things to buy at Karma, and what do you think shouldn't even be carried?A coop like Karma obviously has a diverse group of customers. (I always found it amazing what people buy when I did cash.) However there are some products that I feel don't fit in with the Karma philosophy. Does anyone else have products that "bug" them everytime they see them on the shelf?
And just to keep things balanced with a little positive, what's something great that you can (only) find at Karma?

I am limiting my comments to my thoughts on our FOOD selection....since we are a food co-op.
The frozen peaches from China are irritating when we live less than 100 miles from some very fine peach orchards. The dulse from Japan when NB has a big dulse industry is another example.
There are many more examples of products like that in the store (like canned fish from Asia or organic sunflowers from China).
I can't think of a single prepared product that is only carried by Karma - that I purchase. I do not consume dairy so in that area I think Karma has unique offerings.
Our store has become very industrial organic and I am trying to purchase local and non-processed (pure) foods. Local grocery stores carry all of the same industrial organic foods - and even more in some cases (The Big Carrot, Ambrosia's).
Karma excels when it comes to our produce.
Having 33 local fruits and vegetables at the end of March is amazing.
Our dried herbs/spices are also quite unique and we have a very good selection.
