Community Development Committee
In October 2009, the Events Committee and Outreach Committee merged into the Community Development Committee. The merger realized that to build community inside and outside of Karma events and outreach are intertwined and inextricable. We are responsible for external outreach and community building. We do this by planning and participating in community events.
The Community Development Committee has a two-fold mission:
- To grow Karma’s membership,
- To build community within Karma and the broader world.
Passionate about the future of Karma? The Community Development Committee is looking for new members! We welcome any Karma member looking to share their skills and time with us. We particularly need members with experience in event planning, community outreach, advertising, design, PR, or related fields. If you don't feel that you have the time to commit to committee membership, but have a great idea for how to grow Karma's membership and presence in the community, we would love to hear it!
